Bronx skateboarder Genielle Laboriel was killed on Wednesday after getting hit and pinned by a school bus in Melrose.

Laboriel was riding north on Melrose Avenue on a longboard around 7:15 a.m. when she was hit while crossing 160th Street, reported the New York Daily News

Juanita Hernandez said that she entered the crosswalk to get across 160th street when the bus hit her when it turned right from Melrose Avenue.

“When the bus turned, she went under the front tire,” said Hernandez, who saw the crash on a recording captured by her neighbor’s security camera.

The kids on the bus were all safely removed after the accident, reported 12News.

Laboriel’s family told the broadcaster that she enjoyed riding and would travel as far as Brooklyn.

The driver remained on the scene after the crash, but no charges had been filed.
