Brian Fanelli, the police chief in Mount Pleasant, New York was arrested on Thursday on child porn charges.
Fanelli became the police chief in November 2013.
He has been with the force since 1981.
Fanelli was arrested on Thursday morning at a home in Mahopac, reported ABC.
He’s set to appear in federal court later today in White Plains.
