At least eight homes were evacuated in Brandenton, Fla., after reports of a possible pipe bomb on Wednesday.

The bomb squad was called in and officials are dealing with a “potentially explosive device” at a home, said Micah Grimes with ABC News in Tampa.

A suspect was taken to custody.

Train traffic was also halted.
