A Brady Bunch reunion was held for Florence Henderson’s 80th birthday on Thursday, with the cast discussing some of their favorite memories.

Many of the crew were there, including Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy).

“I remember the first day of rehearsal, we did a script read through at the Lucy rehearsal hall at Paramount Studios. Of course it was like, ‘Here’s your new family.' I remember so clearly meeting Florence,” Olsen said. “I thought she was so beautiful and that she had eyes like a doe.”

Williams added that he enjoyed meeting and working with Henderson, and gave her a big kiss later in the show.

“Florence wasn’t only a representative parent, in a lot of ways she was our mom, especially when we were working,” Knight said.

Eve Plumb (Jan) and Ann B. Davis (Alice) sent video messages to the birthday girl while Maureen McCormick (Marsha) did not participate, though Henderson said they all remain friends amid busy schedules
