Bowling Green, FL: Oil Truck Explodes, Prompting Evacuations

A tanker truck carrying 8,500 gallons of oil exploded in Bowling Green, Florida on Thursday, prompting evacuations of nearby homes.

SR-62 is shut down at Polk Road after the explosion.

Fire and rescue crews are looking for the driver, who is unaccounted for, reported ABC.

No other vehicles were involved.
