A report and video from The Onion--America’s preeminent satire website--says that Boston Mayor Marty Walsh threw out the “first punch” at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday.

It shows a Photoshopped image of Walsh punching a man amid festive parade-goers. However, it’s just satire.

The Onion has a disclaimer, explaining what it does.

“The Onion is a satirical weekly publication published 52 times a year on Thursdays,” it reads. “The Onion uses invented names in all its stories, except in cases where public figures are being satirized. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental,” it continues.

Some people apparently believed the article about Walsh punching someone during the parade.
