Bohol: Power Outages in Anda, Jagna, Loboc, Tagbilaran City as Typhoon Haiyan Hits

Bohol is getting slammed by heavy rain and winds as Typhoon Haiyan hits the Philippines on Friday--damages includes the he Holy Infant Academy Gymnasium in Anda completely collapsing.

The powerful typhoon has triggered evacuations of tens of thousands of people and already done heavy damage across multiple provinces in the country.

In Bohol, Anda, Jagna, Loboc, and Tagbilaran City are without power.

Five homes in Jagna, where there are at least 212 evacuees, are damaged.

The Malinao dam in Pilar town has overflowed to Bayongan dam in Mabini, sparing Inabanga town as of this time, reported the Philippine Information Agency.

The Bohol government has assured that there is sufficient food supply and relief goods  available for those affected by the typhoon.

The Clarin bridge is now passable to 4-wheel vehicles only due to continued repair

The Abatan river now being monitored potential rise of water level that may cause flash floods.
