The Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Florida released body camera footage showing a K-9, named Rambo, taking down an armed robbery suspect.

“K-9 Rambo would like everyone to know that if you commit an armed robbery (or any other violent crime) in Marion County, he will catch you, no matter how far he has to run or how many fences he has to jump to get to you,” the office said in a statement on Oct. 1.

Andre Baker, 29, allegedly robbed a couple of $40 at gunpoint. The Ocala Police Department then issued a warrant for his arrest.

“Baker has fled from law enforcement before...He even told witnesses that he would flee from law enforcement by running into the woods,” the office said.

That’s when Deputy Matthew Hooper and Rambo “took a position in the woods behind the house Baker was staying in” and as “two other deputies went to the front door of the home to ask Baker to come out of the house, Baker ran out the back door,” which is were the K-9 and Hooper waiting.

“Baker ignored K-9 warnings and Deputy Hooper deployed Rambo to apprehend the suspect. Rambo jumped over three fences and quickly captured Baker after a short pursuit,” according to the office’s release.

The suspect was treated for minor bite injuries.

Baker was charged with resisting arrest without violence, robbery with a firearm, grand theft of a firearm, and possession by a weapon by a convicted felon. The office said that he was taken to the Marion County jail.
