A body was found in a burned-out car in a parking lot in California early Tuesday, Feb. 13, authorities said.

The body was found in the early hours of Tuesday and reported to the Garden Grove Fire Department around 3:30 a.m., according to ABC7.

According to the Orange County Register, the Toyota Prius, which was parked near a bank, was still in flames when firefighters arrived. The responders then put out the fire in around 10 minutes.

The parking lot is off of Garden Grove Boulevard, around the 9800 block, reported the OC Register.
The dead person’s identity is not yet known, but the body was burned so badly that firefighters initially couldn’t tell whether it was a man or woman, according to CBS. Police said that the death is being treated as “suspicious.”
Garden Grove Fire Department Capt. Brad Spell told The Los Angeles Times that the body was “severely burned.”

No arrests have been made as of yet.
