Bob Weir collapse: Former Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir collapsed on stage during a concert in New York.

Weir, 65, was with the band Furthur on Thursday at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. when he collapsed, according to video footage of the incident posted on YouTube.

Weir and the band were playing the song “Unbroken Chain” when he fell on the floor, reported the San Francisco Chronicle.

He was helped up by members of the crew and went on with the song.

The crowd yelled “Bobby!” when he fell. When he got back up, the crowd applauded.

Former Grateful Dead member Phil Lesh, who also plays for Furthur, told the crowd that Weir strained his shoulder after the band took a break. The band finished without him, according to Patch.com

It is unclear if the band will keep touring. There have been no reports on Weir’s current condition or what caused him to collapse.

Furthur is slated to play at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday night. They will also play at the BottleRock Napa Valley Festival on May 9.
