A blast that hit a business district in the Philippines has left at least at least 4 dead on July 26.
The Limketkai Center in the city of Cagayan de Oro was hit, reported GMA News. The center is a business district in the city that includes a mall.
At least four people are dead, reported ABS-CBN News, and six people are injured. The injured were taken to area hospitals. The explosion happened in front of Kyla’s Bistro. The Sun-Star reported that three people died on the spot while another died while being transported to a hospital.
Noel Arcenas, a sound system operator, said there were many people in the area watching a live band when suddenly the blast occurred.
The explosion took place late Friday evening, around 11:10 p.m. local time. The Philippine National Police are investigating what happened.
