After a long flight, hungry birds finally arrived in the south to feast on fruits and berries and recharge. However, their feast quickly turned into a drunken party with the consumption of certain berries, which had been left to ferment.
In Brevard, Florida, robins are especially having a riot. In colder temperatures, berries are prone to freezing, which ruptures their skin and allows their natural sugars to become fermented; a perfect recipe for bird wine.
