NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—A hit-and-run motorist behind the wheel of a BMW struck and killed a motorcyclist in Northridge, authorities said May 28.

The suspect’s vehicle was going eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday when it made a left turn at Yolanda Avenue and collided with a biker who was going west on Roscoe, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.

The BMW drove away and paramedics dispatched to the location pronounced the motorcyclist, described as a man in his 30s, dead at the scene.
