Big Bear Receives More Snowfall Surpasses Yearly Average in Recent Storm

Big Bear Mountain—home to one of Southern California’s premiere ski resorts tucked in the San Bernardino National Forest—received 75 inches of snowfall last week, bringing the mountain above its yearly average in just a few days, according to a spokesperson for the resort.

In a typical winter, between November and April, Big Bear Mountain is usually covered with approximately 100 inches of natural snowfall.
