There is more than one Kim Kardashian—and one is in a form of a chicken, according to Bette Midler, that is.

The award-winning singer revealed in an interview with People that her pet chickens are named after the Kardashian family.

“We have the Kardashian sisters, actually, are our chickens,” said Midler when People caught up with her at New York Restoration Project’s Spring Picnic on June 1. “Kim died of a yeast infection. We had to get some different ones.”

Midler founded the New York Restoration Project in 1995, with a mission to cultivate quality public space for New Yorkers. The non-profit organization has planted trees and restored parks throughout the five boroughs.

This isn’t the first time the 70-year-old has mentioned her chickens, located in upstate New York. The “Hocus Pocus” actress tweeted back in 2011 that she was tending to her Kardashian chickens.

“Spent yesterday cleaning out the chicken coop …. The hens are Kim, Kourtney and Khloé. And they’re exactly like their namesakes!” she tweeted.

Midler has previously poked fun at the Kardashians, particularly social media influencer Kim Kardashian.

When Kim posted a racy nude selfie onto her Instagram page, Midler tweeted, “If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”

The entrepreneur took exception to her comment, responding with a few tweets of her own.

“Hey @BetteMidler I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding,” tweeted Kardashian. “I really didn’t want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu.”

According to Midler, she was just joking with the mom of two.

“I never tried to fake friend you,” she tweeted back. “Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke…”

The Kardashians have yet to comment on Midler’s choice to name her chickens after the famous family.
