Ben An Shoots 61, Strolls to Scottish Open Lead

South Korea’s Ben An carded nine birdies to tie the course record with a 9–under 61 in the opening round on July 13,  at the Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.

American Davis Riley finished at 7–under, two back of An and one stroke ahead of Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy and Belgian Thomas Detry.
