Ben Affleck will be Batman in the new “Batman-Superman” movie instead of Bale, Warner Bros. announced Thursday, according to Variety.
The main actors and actresses in “Man of Steel“ (the latest Superman movie) will reprise their roles, including Henry Cavill (Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Superman’s adopted mother, Martha Kent).
The Batman-Superman film is slated to debut on July 17, 2015.
