Recently, Beijing authorities issued a notice that 6 types of personnel must take the nucleic acid test for the CCP virus, including those who work at or have a business connection with Xinfadi Food Market, residents surrounding the area, medical professionals, people in the service industry whose jobs require them to have direct contacts with customers, etc.

Presently there are 98 institutions in Beijing that provide testing services, and the maximum daily capacity is about 90,000 people. In some testing sites, there are so many people on the waiting list for the testing, and any new appointments will have to wait until September 15.
