Avengers 2: Will ‘Avengers Age of Ultron’ be Affected by Scarlett Johannson Being Pregnant?

Scarlett Johansson is the biggest female cast member in Avengers 2, or “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

News broke on Monday about Johansson being pregnant and being due in August.

Filming is scheduled to begin in April for the film.

Johansson plays the Black Widow in the film, a role she started in the first Avengers.

A source told E! News that Johansson is scheduled to begin shooting on April 5, but that filming for the sequel will need some rearranging. 

“They’re going to fast-track her scenes,” the source said. 

Johansson is engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac, who is rarely seen in public with her.

The couple maintain a relatively private life together, perhaps the reason the pregnancy news took so long to become public.

Avengers 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
