Andy Serkis, fresh off being cast in the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, is lending his expertise to Avengers 2 Age of Ultron.

Serkis is famous for his acting through motion capture, first as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films (six now), and later as Captain Haddock and Sir Francis Haddock in The Adventures of Tintin and Caesar in Rise of the Planet of The Apes.

Mark Ruffalo is reprising his role as The Hulk in the Avengers sequel, and gave some news to a fan who asked him about his role.

“Well, I have been working with the great @andyserkis on the big green boy,” Ruffalo said via Twitter.

The Hulk “is going to be even better than [Avengers] 1,” he said.

Ruffalo didn’t divulge the exact details but seemed excited about the help.

Serkis was just announced as one of the primary cast members for the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, though his role in that movie isn’t clear yet.

Avengers 2, meanwhile, is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2014.
