Agustin Caruso, 23, was charged in the death of Toronto man Christopher Skinner in 2009, according to reports.

Caruso was charged with second degree murder in the case, reported GlobalNews. He is accused of running over Skinner, who was 27 at the time, with a black Ford Explorer.

“There will be further arrests in the case,” said Detective Sergeant Stacy Gallant told the website on Thursday. “Anyone who assisted in any way in the events that led to the death of Christopher Skinner will be held in account.”

He added: “Potentially everyone in the vehicle could [be charged]… if they assisted in any way.”

Toronto police said that Skinner was attempting to hail a cab when he might have accidentally come into contact with a vehicle passing by. They then said that the passengers of the vehicle beat and kicked Skinner before driving over him and leaving the scene, according to CTV News.

Police have said that anyone who helped the suspects avoid arrest will be charged.

The family of Skinner is offering a $150,000 in overall rewards, according to CP24.
