Hembree Springs Elementary School and Elkins Pointe Middle School in Roswell, Georgia were both placed on lockdown on Friday.
Fox-5 reported that the schools were locked down due to a police search for a home invasion suspect.
The name of the suspect nor a description was not disclosed.
It is unclear when the lockdown will be lifted.
