The Assassin’s Creed 5 2014 release date may be announced soon following Ubisoft confirming that they plan to release two unannounced games soon.
The company, which several years ago said they would release an Assassin’s Creed game every year, said so in a financial results conference call, reported NowGamer.
“There is two more games that are still not announced that we will soon announce,” said Ubisoft.
Of the five major titles slated to be released between April 2014 and March 2015, three have been named--The Crew, Watch Dogs, and a Just Dance game.
While there’s been speculation that the game will be set in feudal Japan or the Wild West, designer Darby McDevitt told Edge that a leaked email thread wasn’t a serious discussion.
“What a lot of people don’t realize is that the time periods I picked were not necessarily the ones we were considering, it was just me parodying the ones that the fans had asked for back to them,” he said. So the fans generated that list, we didn’t generate that list.”
