Various show formats are being accepted from viewers around the world. Not only can participants submit their own videos, but they also can vote for which candidates they like, and who they would not want to have their own show.

Anner is from Austin, Texas and has a remarkable attitude. He has created various videos that showcase him as a talk show host. In one video he takes viewers on a comedic tour of Austin. Anner also makes fun of his limitations (he is wheelchair-bound, a victim of cerebral palsy) and encourages viewers to overcome whatever adversity they encounter.

An internet rumor recently alluded to the idea that Oprah Winfrey (or ABC executives) have been acting to stop Zach Anner from winning the contest, given that he has brought in a substantial amount of votes. The rumor spread to the point that Anner’s facebook page and other web discussions have been filled with fans complaining about alleged vote-rigging. However, one fan got it right, given that no evidence of any vote rigging has thus far been presented:

“Everyone, please don’t waste your energy spreading rumors. Right now we all just need to support Zach and KEEP VOTING! This contest is not over yet, and Zach doesn’t need the drama HE NEEDS MORE VOTES,” wrote Kim Hansen Nieves-Sosa on Anner’s facebook fan page.

Oprah’s “Your Own Show” features a long list of audition videos that can be viewed online on her site. Different types of talk shows styles are being pitched, ranging from health and wellbeing, to creative comedy, to the traditional talk show format.
