Young Jeezy, the Atlanta-based rapper, was arrested last week for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats, according to a report.
In 2012, Jeezy allegedly got into a fight with his son and threw him into a shower door. Jeezy also allegedly punched his son in the face and beat him after he threw him on a bed, reported TMZ.
Arresting documents claim that Jeezy said, “I will kill you.”
“I will put a bullet in your head right now,” he said, according to the documents, adding, “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”
The incident apparently took place in September 2012, but he turned himself into police last Friday after a grand jury warrant was served. He posted bail for $45,000 and was release.
“We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy,” the rapper’s attorney told the website.
