Yasmin Ahmad, the famed film director from Malaysia, was remembered in a Google Doodle.

Ahmad, who died in July 2009 at the age of 51, won multiple awards for her films.

The doodle features Google’s logo and a drawing of Ahmad.

The logo is stylized in the typefact of the “Sepet” movie poster. “Sepet,” or slit eyes, was a 2004 movie directed by her, about a love story between a Chinese boy and a Malaysian girl.

Doodles often appear on Google’s homepage.
