After intense criticism of a new “designer drugs collection” of shirts, the makers of the three drugs that appear on the shirts are planning a lawsuit unless the shirts are discontinued.
Representatives for Xanax, Vicodin, and Adderall--all prescription pills--have told TMZ that unless Kitson LA pull the shirts, which have the drug names emblazoned on the back, they will sue them for trademark infringement.
“We had no involvement NOR do we approve of the sale of such a product using Adderall to glorify the misuse of our product,” Adderall’s representative said.
“Prescription drug use should not be trivialized. It is a serious issue and we will be taking legal action to stop the clothing company from trying to sell such a product,” said Vicodin’s representative.
Kitson LA has not responded as of yet.
