Because of my age and desire to do my part to save America, I am writing in my own way.
I am a retired cowboy artist with not a lot of time to spend on this old dirty ball of tears. I have lived the life of the sculptures I have made. I am 85 years young.
Is history repeating itself? Getting old is discouraging, but it can be a benefit to the new generation. I can remember the year of 1964 when Barry Goldwater lost to John F. Kennedy.
In a barbershop on the Mojave desert, a cowboy was listening to his friends put down President Kennedy’s liberal agenda. The barber broke in and said: “You wouldn’t want the president to get shot, would you?”
At that remark one cowboy said, no but he wouldn’t mind hearing about it.
Not long after, the president was shot in Dallas, Texas. We don’t want history to repeat itself but if things don’t improve, it could come to that.
