Wisconsin’s Controversial Budget Bill Makes Deep Cuts

Gov. Scott Walker’s biennial budget bill went into effect July 1 at the beginning of the new fiscal year. Walker has called on the state to make drastic cuts. The budget would reduce government spending by $4.2 billion.
