WHO: COVID-19 Cases Spiked 11 Percent Worldwide in Past Week

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that COVID-19 cases increased worldwide by about 11 percent from the previous week, likely driven by the Omicron variant.

In a weekly epidemiological report released by the WHO, CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus cases increased by 39 percent in the Americas, with more than 1.4 million new cases between Dec. 20 and Dec. 26.
