President Donald Trump has condemned white supremacists and other extremist groups who were involved in protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, leaving one person dead and scores more injured.

On Saturday, in the “Unite the Right” rally, groups of protesters clashed.

“The president said very strongly in his statement yesterday that he condemns all forms of violence, bigotry and hatred. Of course that includes white supremacists, KKK, Neo-Nazi and all extremist groups. He called for national unity and bringing all Americans together,” a spokesperson said from Trump’s private golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, Fox News reported.
