When These Crazy Things Happen, You Know the Weather Is Crazy Cold

Winter can bring some crazy weather. Sure, spring and summer can get far hotter than it should and can bring hurricanes, but the other seasons’ weather never gifts us with the same opportunity to have fun or see something amazing. There’s just something about snow and ice that brings the kid out in all of us. The clips in this video prove just how crazy winter can be.

Winter isn’t all about walking on ice and snowball fights, it has an uncanny way of making us take notice of the nature around us. The video features some incredible frost, ice forming instantaneously in front of your eyes, frozen water forming on the shore like thousands of shards of glass, and waves of ice.

We wouldn’t normally notice the flow of rivers around us, but when it carries large sheets of ice along at a rapid pace, you can’t help but stop and marvel at nature’s persistence to continue even when the temperature is trying to bring it all to a halt.

But winter can also just be plain old fun. It’s a great time to go back to your childhood, have fun on the ice, impress your friends by swimming safely under ice (okay, maybe not that one) and importantly, prank them. All of which takes place in this video.

We’ve all slipped on ice and been the butt of the joke, but hopefully, there wasn’t anyone around to film it. Sure, maybe we shouldn’t find videos of people falling on ice funny, but… well, it is.
