A look into the world through the lens of photography.
Less than three weeks after the 2024 Summer Olympics concluded in Paris, the city continues to host the 2024 Paralympics from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8.
Thousands of athletes joined the hours-long opening ceremony held at the Champs-Elysées avenue and Place de la Concorde on Wednesday.
Some 4,400 athletes will compete in 549 medal events across 22 sports, according to the International Paralympic Committee website.
