The mom’s driving her car with her daughter in the backseat when her daughter starts to scream.

The mom turns around to see what the problem is--then the nightmare starts.

It’s a similar message to the recently viral video from AT&T that illustrates the dangers of being distracted while driving, but in this case it’s the kid that’s the distraction instead of a phone.

According to Start Rescue, a group in the UK, driving with a child in your car can be a staggering twelve times more distracting than when driving with a mobile phone.

In the tragic but poignant video, the director was able to capture the pain and heartache the mom went through for the rest of her life.

Avoid having to do the same yourself by always staying alert while driving and keeping phone and kid distractions to an absolute minimum. If necessary, show these videos to your kids, too, so they'll know to calm down while in the car.
