Multiple new smartphones have been introduced to the market recently, including the Verizon Droid Incredible, iPhone 4, & Sprint EVO. Not all are currently available for purchase but many consumers are taking some time to cross reference the qualities of each model.

The phone with the most buzz is undoubtedly the iPhone 4. The new iPhone had tech geeks around the world focusing on its release at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco Monday.

Behind the shadow of the iPhone 4’s unveiling stood the Sprint EVO which was actually the first 4G smartphone to be available for purchase, breaking new sales records for Sprint. The Verizon Droid Incredible was the latest high powered smartphone to be pushed into the mainstream before the other two phones but, along with the iPhone 4, it lacks the new 4G technology.

The Verizon Droid Incredible and the Sprint EVO are both designed by HTC but Sprint is the only cell phone carrier that currently has a 4G phone, and Verizon historically blacklists the iPhone as sale rights were given to AT&T.

Though the Droid Incredible lacks 4G technology, it does boast a conglomerate of solid features that make the phone worth owning. It has an 8-mega pixel camera which surpasses the iPhone 4.

The phone carries Google applications, making it efficient for internet users. It also has a 3.7-inch touchscreen that is bigger than the iPhone 4.

The Sprint EVO carries new 4G technology and enables the device to have added speed and the ability to run internet features more efficiently. Its 4.3-inch touchscreen is larger than the Verizon Droid Incredible and the iPhone 4.

The EVO comes with what is described on the company website as a “unique kickstand” and well as the Google applications featured on the Verizon Droid Incredible. The Google applications include Google Talk, Google Maps, and Google Voice.

The Apple iPhone 4 comes without the new 4G technology, and without any Google applications. The phone does however carry a plethora of iPhone applications and boasts a multitude of Apple programs including Safari, iTunes, and iMovie. The iPhone 4 has the smallest screen at 3.5-inches (though the resolution is impressive at 960X480 pixels) and has its industry-changing multi-touch screen.

A complete breakdown of each phone can be found on the each of the company’s websites. The phones are available for purchase, except the iPhone 4 which will be available for pre-sale on June 15, followed by full availability June 24.
