Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho was evacuated on Tuesday over a bomb threat, and threats were made to Jefferson Middle School and Washington Elementary School as well.
Students and staff were evacuated from Vallivue after the threat was made at 9:42 a.m., Sgt. Chad Sloan of the Caldwell Police Department told the Idaho Statesman.
Streets around the school are blocked, and a bomb squad was sweeping the school.
The threat was made by a person on the phone with police.
Threats were also made to Jefferson Middle School and Washington Elementary School, and they were evacuated.
Kelsey Anderson of KBOI reported at 12:47 p.m. that students at Vallivue were being released to parents, and buses.
And KBOI reported around the same time that students were being allowed back inside all of the schools.
Sloan said that the caller was “younger sounding.”
Dr. Pat Charlton, superintendent, said that someone made a 911 and left a message saying there was a bomb in the school parking lot.
