Man Heading to DC With Rifle Caught

Baltimore police have arrested a man carrying an assault-style rifle after he reportedly told a cab driver to take him to Washington D.C.

According to authorities, the cab driver dropped the man off instead at a train station and alerted the police of his suspicious behavior.

The man was later spotted by police on the train. While trying to flee, the man fell and broke his ankle. The rifle was left behind wrapped in a sheet.

Magician Predicts Headlines Two Months Early

A Wisconsin magician is claiming to be able to see the news ahead of time.

News on a tape recorder and shipped it to the On Sept. 29, Bill Blagg III recorded what he believed to be headline news for their November 22 edition of the Journal Times and KenoshaUniversity of Wisconsin-Parkside.

The contents of the package will be revealed in front of an audience. Blagg promised to pay every audience member $100 cash if his predictions are wrong.

Woman Finds Black Widow Spider in Grapes

A Seattle woman found a nasty surprise when she opened a container of Costco grapes she had just bought.

“I got to the bottom of it and all of a sudden… a spider came out,” said Nancy Pitts to King5 TV station

Pitts checked online and found out that the spider was a black widow. She also discovered other customer who had similar experiences with Costco grapes from California.

According to experts, it is not uncommon to find black widow spiders in a package of grapes. While the black widow is considered the most dangerous spider in the U.S, reported bites are very rare.

Undercover Officers Apologize for Using Taser on Pallbearer

North Carolina’s sheriff’s office issued an apology for a chaotic funeral where undercover police officers used tasers on the dead man’s son while attempting to arrest him.

According to relatives, while the coffin was being loaded into a hearse, two officers dressed in coats and ties grabbed Russ and kneed him on his back before tasering him. The officers had planned to quietly arrest the son, Gladwyn Taft Russ III.

Russ, 42, was charged with threatening his ex-wife who lives in another state. Russ had agreed to surrender himself after his father’s funeral.
