President Donald Trump took executive action on May 9 that was directed toward fulfilling a campaign promise to improve the lives of America’s veterans.

The order established the “National Center for Warrior Independence” in southern California by directing a revitalization of the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center with the capacity to help veterans earn back self-sufficiency.
