The lion is traditionally known as the king of the jungle, fiercely guarding his domain. But this one also enjoys some more leisurely activities, in this case playing soccer.
The video was recorded several years ago at a South African zoo.
Triton the lion was at the time of the recording an 11-year-old male sharing the enclosure with seven female lions.
He likes to play soccer, but not with others. In fact, he won’t let any of the females touch the ball.
