Republicans say they’re expecting a partisan message from President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on March 1. They’re also predicting to decisively take back Congress in the upcoming midterm elections.

On a call with reporters the day before Biden is set to address Congress and the nation, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich painted a bleak picture of the president’s first year in office.
