The Blacklist season 1 continues on April 21 with an all-new episode, episode 19 of 22.
There will be a “major death” in one of the three episodes leading into the season finale.
The person most impacted by the death is Ressler, according to Entertainment Weekly.
New details about Tom Keen are going to come out during these episodes, Ryan Eggold told EW.
“To be honest, I don’t know if this show is the medium to go as dark as you could because at a certain point it would become gratuitous. We’d lose the story,” he said, giving hints about the story.
“But I don’t necessarily have a preference between good or bad. The most fun is playing the creepy in-between, which is what I’ve been doing a lot of lately. Where you get to say something on the surface with a completely different intent underneath. And also, the badass version of him, the agent, the guy who’s driving mustangs and shooting out the window – that’s a character I’ve played less to date and it’s fun to get to know him.”
The official description of episode 19 reveals that Liz “patiently tries to uncover the truth about Tom,” as Red has a job for the Pavlovich brothers, who specialize in abductionsof high value targets.
Episode 20, “The Kingmaker,” will include Red hunting The Kingmaker, who he suspects is behind framing a politician in Prague being framed for a murder.
But while Red helps Liz and the FBI catch him, Liz uncovers a secret that Red has been keeping from her.
