Superman Cavill bullied: The new Superman Henry Cavill was bullied when he was a kid.
Cavill recalled in an interview with Details magazine how he cried on the phone with his mom at boarding school four times a day. “I became an easy target,” he says, being chubby back then. However, the experience helped him in his role as Superman.
“My version of Superman,” he says, “is essentially of a guy who has spent his whole life alone.”
Cavill later dropped weight, 21 pounds, after he got a role for “The Count of Monte Cristo” when he was 17.
