“Super Smash Bros. 4,” the sequel to the popular Nintendo franchise, will see the return of Diddy Kong.
Diddy Kong--the sidekick to Donkey Kong--will have expanded abilities.
“We’ve increased Diddy Kong’s flexibility this time,” game director Masahiro Sakurai said.
The announcement was made several days ago, accompanying the release of the U.S. release of “Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.”
Diddy Kong first made his appearance in “Super Smash Bros. Brawl” for the Wii.
Nintendo released screenshots of his playing style on its website.
Two weeks ago, it was announced that Little Mac will be joining the franchise as a new fighter, according to the Escapist.
