A film based on the first date of Barack and Michelle Obama is scheduled for release this summer and the 2.5-minute trailer is out.

“Southside With You” is a re-imagination of the Obamas’ first date, which takes place all day long in Chicago, 1989, when they were both working at the same law firm.

They spend much of their date walking through the Chicago Institute of Art, before catching Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing,” then finishing with a kiss near an ice cream parlor.

The film also shows Obama giving a speech as a community activist, and him and Michelle bonding over politics.

Most of the details in the movie are sourced from commonly-known biographical details about the Obamas. The filmmakers sent a script of the movie to the White House, and the Obamas know it film exists.

“We’ve heard from some pretty reliable sources that they are aware [of the film],” director Richard Tanne told Vanity Fair. “They are excited. And they are also a little baffled by its existence.”

“Southside With You” will be released in theaters on August 26.
