Sons of Guns has been cancelled after the recent charges against star Will Hayden.

The Discovery show wrapped up season 5 earlier this year and had not been renewed for a season 6.

Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of Sons of Guns and cancel the series,” a representative told TMZ.

Hayden was arrested Tuesday when police decided to charge him with rape.

Hayden was arrested two weeks ago for allegedly molesting his daughter.

Hayden was the owner of Red Jacket Firearms, the gun store featured on Sons of Guns--but the company announced also on Wednesday that its cutting ties with him.

It also appears that the Sons of Guns Facebook page was deleted.

Hayden is still in custody.

See the Discovery description of the now-cancelled show below:

“Will Hayden is an American success story. Having turned his Louisiana-based small business, Red Jacket Firearms, into a regional powerhouse, he’s ready for the next step for himself and his family. Like so many American small businesses, Will’s journey from garage based gun shop to the pride of Baton Rouge is rife with personal sacrifices and some risky decisions.”
