A short teaser trailer has been released for Sons of Anarchy season 7.
The teaser shows Jax (Charlie Hunnam) riding solo at night.
The teaser is only 20 seconds. There’s no official word on when the first full trailer will be coming out, but FX will be having a Sons panel at the upcoming Comic Con.
The network says that the panel will be on Sunday, July 27 and include Kurt Sutter and executive producer Paris Barclay, as well as many of the cast members including Katey Segal, Hunnam, Kim Coates, and Theo Rossi. It says that the panel will give an “inside look” into the upcoming season, which is set to premiere in September.
Jax’s face in the teaser turns into a skull, then goes back to his face, begging the question, per E! News: “Is he the Reaper or a man who'll be dying? Both?”
Rossi (Juice) previously told the outlet that no cast member expects to make it out of the final season alive.
A lot of people say that because of the whole Hamlet [comparison], and let’s be honest, every year we lose major characters left and right. The season six finale, I think, was the most shocking episode we ever did in every way,” he said.
“You have dreams of being the last guy standing, the one riding off, but you know,” he added, laughing at the understatement, “I’ve done a lot of bad things.”
Sutter, the show’s creator, also recently teased “Red Wedding”-style violence in season 7.
