RALEIGH, N. C.—The Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company brought enjoyment, amazement and curiosity to the audience on Feb. 8 at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.

Katie Hendrick, a marketing consultant, and Brian O'Haver, a landscape architect, both from Raleigh, thoroughly enjoyed the show.

“I enjoyed it a lot. There’s a lot of pageantry. I like the orchestra,” said Mr. O'Haver. He is a manager at a private firm, and specializes in land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering and urban design.

Ms. Hendrick said she admired the orchestra. She said the instrumentals were amazing.

Mr. O'Haver agreed, and said the Shen Yun orchestra did a good job combining Eastern and Western musical styles and sounds.

Ms. Hendrick said she was also impressed with the dancers.

“I think they are amazing athletes. Their conditioning is incredible,” she said. Mr. Hendricks was a professional soccer player with the El Paso Patriots.
