Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) on Friday said she had been elected to “be a workhorse not a show horse,” as she pushed back against criticism of her negotiating methods regarding legislation.

In an interview with ABC15 Arizona, Sinema, a lead negotiator for the recently passed bipartisan infrastructure bill, said her focus is now to manage how the legislation will be implemented.
