Semyon Varlamov, the goalie for the Colorao Avalanche, has turned himself into Denver police and was arrested over domestic violence-related charges.
Varlamov, 25, turned himself on Wednesday evening, reported KMGH-TV’s Phil Tenser.
The Denver Post then reported that he was arrested.
It is unclear what the exact nature of the alleged crime was.
This season, Varlamov has been off to a good start, as is one of the NHL’s league leaders in goals against at 1.76.
