Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs has been behind the success of several musicians—now he is taking on the role of building successful students, with the opening of a new charter school in Harlem, New York.
Combs will open Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School in August for the 2016-17 school year and is currently accepting applications for grades six and seven.
Capital Prep leader Steve Perry, who founded Connecticut’s Capital Prep Magnet School will oversee the school. Perry has a 100 percent graduation rate with students attending four-year colleges.
Creating this school is a dream come true for me.
